I've always been the one with the camera, whether it's on vacation or at family events, and I've always tried to capture pictures that I could use to help remember moments in my life.

 

Before I had kids, my walls were covered with landscape photos from cruises and trips to the beach. Now they are covered in pictures of my children!

I consider it a specialty of mine to work outdoors with natural light while using the landscape to create something that will be a lasting moment. I also do indoor sessions, but still use natural light as much as possible.

​

I value family and relationships, and as a mother, I know that the best moments in life are unscripted. When I look back at a special moment in my life, the photos that have the most impact are the ones where my family's personality shines through. They aren't always posed and sometimes they're messy! I will work with you to make sure that special time in your life is recorded just as it was.

My three kids keep me on my toes at all times! When we can sneak away, my husband and I love to hit up Starbucks, a Twin's game, the North Loop and if we're lucky the Caribbean Islands. As a family, we LOVE summer, swimming, bike riding, spending time with family on the lake and making many trips to see our family in Iowa. Go Hawkeyes!
